Check out the new engine alpha for my new zombie game.

Things missing:

1.Zombies

2.Some bullets go though walls.

And well, other stuff. What do you think of the game engine/art so far?

Controls:

Move with WASD

Run with Shift

fire with mouse

change weapons with Q,E

reload with R

switch light off with F

kick with SPACE

Looks cool man.
It'll make a great game when its done :)

Nice flash light effect but, add a really bright muzzle flash and a screen shake and maybe a bullet cartridge falling out there three suggestions put them in and 5 stars but, right now 4 stars.

The main character looks weird :\. I'd also like a little circle of light around the character in a full circle, but not too far out though. That's just me though. Otherwise I like it :D

Oh, and make it so you can reload when you shoot without any ammo. (Shoot withouth ammo -> reload)

so, am i your VA, or what?

Send me a sample

good, but make the light not come out his stomach, maybe have an actual torch

If I made the light come out from the actual torch (the gun he's holding) then when your standing right in front of something you wouldn't be able to see it, and you should be able to see right in front of you.

How about he holds the gun in his left hand, at his chest. http://content.ll-0.com/valhalla/word _images/9906324_image004.jpg
Not sure how that would work with the bigger guns. I think the muzzle flashes should light up the room as well, only for a second though.
He doesnt seem to have feet, he slides everywhere, which looks kinda weird.
In the corridor because the floor is yellow and there is no texture it just looks like light. It's hard to tell how far he's moving. It could do with some scracthes/scuffs or a floor texture.
A cool idea would be to have some light switches available so you can light the entire room. Maybe some flickering lights or random sparks.
I think you should draw a few very different muzzle flashes for each gun. The M16 especially looks weird when firing automatically, if it was going through 5 random flashes it might look better.
Some recoil on the weapons would be nice.
Hope this didnt get you down, just trying to make as many suggestions as possible to help. It's looking great so far.

I like the engine but the art needs some work. Im willing to work on it a bit if your interested. But not until we finish my project if your wanting to do it.
